Gaming Headlines
TombraiderEidos has announced - perhaps unsurprisingly - that Tomb Raider: Legend will be making it's way to Nintendo's range of consoles.
"There are a host of new and exciting features for Lara on the Nintendo platforms," said Senior Brand Manager Kathryn Clements. "With the stunning graphics of the original games optimised to Nintendo's platforms, Legend will further extend the reach of the Lara universe."
Tomb Raider: Legend will be released on Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance and GameCube later this year. For more information, head over to the Tomb Raider website.

Activision Nabs Bond

News

Activision has nabbed the rights to develop and publish James Bond games until 2014.

"James Bond is the ultimate action movie franchise, and we look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with MGM and EON," said Mike Griffith, president and CEO of Activision Publishing Inc. "The James Bond franchise creates tremendous global expansion opportunities for Activision as it is one of the few video game licenses that appeals equally to domestic and international consumers. James Bond storylines are rich with style, drama and action, all of which lend themselves perfectly to developing extraordinary games that capture the thrill of being the most celebrated secret agent in the world."
The license lets Activision create Bond games, whether based on a movie or not, for all current and next-gen consoles, the PC and hand-held platforms.
